想问一下最后一行的空格是为什么填写 studying? 而不是studies? 虽然有时间是 now,但为何没有助动词呢？

这个用到的是省略。全句为says Mary, she is a German girl who/that is now studying Chinese at shanghai University.
后面是个定语从句，可以这么理解！
